— Why chutzpah? —

BE INSPIRED TO LIVE WITH MORE CHUTZPAH.

Like Buddhism is to India and stoicism is to Greece, chutzpah is to Israel — an extraordinary place, one of the world’s most successful countries, and an incubator for non-stop innovation across virtually every field.

At Israel's cultural core is chutzpah — a refusal to be limited by imaginary boundaries and physical resources, the confidence to pursue incredible ambitions, and a relentless attitude to never let actions be influenced by fears.

Unfortunately, chutzpah has a negative connotation (and it can be used in negative ways), but when you look at the other side of the coin, you find that people who live with chutzpah are people who use remarkable amounts of courage and creativity to drive the next generation of imagination and prosperity, locally and globally.

Join me in creating a movement that inspires more people around the world to maximize their chutzpah, so we can create better versions and inspire others to do the same!

"The best I've read in the last year. You changed the meaning of 'chutzpah' to me. You redefined it."

UPGRADE YOUR SOFT SKILLS.

Soft skills are defined by the World Economic Forum as skills for the future, as nearly 50% of companies expected that by 2020, automation will lead to reduction in their full-time workforce, while more than half of all employees will require significant re-skilling and upskilling. Naturally, the Covid-19 pandemic has exacerbated these trends.

Hi there, I’m Josh Hoffman.

I was born in 1989 to an American mother and Hungarian father in Los Angeles. From 2012 to 2019, I ran a multinational client-service business, crafting marketing strategies for top brands, including W Hotels, Coworker, LYFE Kitchen Restaurants, Fendi, the U.S. Embassy in Israel, and China’s International Institute of Education.

Meanwhile, in 2013, I unexpectedly moved to Tel Aviv and became an Israeli citizen. This started a now eight-year journey in which my character and career grew at an astronomical rate. In 2020, I took everything I had learned, founded a global Israeli-focused TV streaming platform called IZZY, and decided to dedicate my life to enhancing the world’s relationship with Israel.

In its first year, IZZY is on pace to generate annual revenues of more than $1 million, with subscribers in 50+ countries. More importantly, it’s allowed me to find the perfect intersection between passion, profession, vocation, and mission! Looking back on how I got here, I completely credit Israel — Chutzpah Nation — for the massive gains in my personal and professional life.

My goal is to create a movement that gets more people around the world to tap into their chutzpah — that is, their creativity, imagination, confidence, and courage — so we can create better versions of ourselves, our surroundings, and the things we make, both individually and collectively.
